These Terms govern your use of atthepointyend.com (the "Site"), operated by Matt Stevenson as a sole trader, trading as At The Pointy End (ABN 33 164 250 137) ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.
This document is general information, not legal advice.
1. What we do
We publish information about flight deals — primarily business, premium economy, and first class fares — that we find across public sources. We are not a travel agent, airline, or booking provider. We do not sell flights and are not party to any booking you make. All bookings are made with third parties on their own terms.
2. Deal accuracy — verify before booking
Fares, availability, taxes, conditions, and deadlines change constantly and can expire without notice. We take care to check deals, but we cannot guarantee that any price or offer is current, available, or error-free by the time you view or act on it. Always confirm the full price and conditions with the airline or booking provider before you pay. Prices are shown for guidance and are typically converted to USD using rates at the time we captured the deal; actual charges and exchange rates will differ.
3. Affiliate links
Some links on the Site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This never changes the price you pay and does not influence whether we feature a deal. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it in breach of these Terms, infringe our intellectual property, or use it for unlawful purposes.
5. Intellectual property
The Site's content, branding, and design are owned by us or our licensors. You may share links to our posts, but you may not copy or republish substantial parts without permission. Destination images are used under their respective licences.
6. Third-party sites
The Site links to third-party websites we don't control. We are not responsible for their content, products, or terms, and linking to them is not an endorsement.
7. Disclaimers and liability
The Site is provided "as is" and "as available", and to the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee or right under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where our liability can be limited, it is limited to re-supplying the relevant information. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your reliance on deal information, from bookings made with third parties, or from your use of the Site.
8. Changes
We may update the Site or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
