About

G'day, I'm Matt. At The Pointy End is a one man show run from Australia, and I plan to keep it that way.

I've been hunting cheap business class fares for years, mostly for my own trips. Somewhere along the way I rigged up alerts to ping my phone when a fare on a route I watch drops well under what it normally goes for. Half price or better, or it doesn't make the cut. Those alerts now feed this site. When something promising lands I check the fare is actually bookable, and if it is, I post it.

A few promises. Every deal on here was bookable when I posted it. Fares like this die fast, sometimes within hours, so some will be gone by the time you click. I don't leave dead deals up on purpose, and I don't pump up the "usual" price to make a discount look better than it is.

Why only business, premium economy and first? Because that end of the plane has the strangest pricing in travel. Economy moves a few percent either way. Business class on the same route can swing by thousands of dollars for no obvious reason. If you're flexible and a bit quick, you can sit up the front for less than some people pay for premium economy. Those windows are what I'm after.

On money: some links here are affiliate links. Book through one and I might earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra and it has no say in what gets posted. The longer version is in the affiliate disclosure.

Running this costs real money every month, and right now the site earns close to none. If it's saved you a decent chunk on a fare and you feel like it, you can shout me a coffee:
