Etihad has announced the business and first class configurations for its incoming Airbus A330neo aircraft. The airline is retrofitting these widebodies with updated cabin products as part of its fleet modernisation programme.

What it means for you

Etihad's A330neo deployment will bring refreshed business and first class products to routes currently served by older A330s and A340s. Australian travellers on Etihad services to the Middle East and Europe may eventually see these newer cabins, though the timeline for specific route assignments remains unclear. The A330neo typically offers improved fuel efficiency, which may support route expansion or frequency increases over time.
