Shenzhen Airlines will begin four-weekly flights between Shenzhen and Sydney in December. The service represents a new direct connection between the two cities on the Chinese carrier's network.

### What it means for you

Australian business travellers now have a new direct option to Shenzhen with daily-plus frequency. The route typically operates narrow-body aircraft on this distance, so expect standard business-class seating rather than premium cabins. Availability and pricing will depend on Shenzhen Airlines' alliance partnerships and how aggressively they price the new service to build load.
