British Airways has resumed service to Melbourne after an absence. New routes have been launched to Helsinki and Las Vegas from Australian cities. The specific carriers, timing and frequency of these route launches are not detailed in the available information.

### What it means for you

BA's return to Melbourne likely means more business-class options on the London-Australia corridor, though you'll want to check which London airport and what cabin product they're deploying. Helsinki and Las Vegas additions expand your network options, though relevance depends on the departure cities and whether these are direct or one-stop services. Monitor award availability as new routes typically see promotional pricing in the first season.
